Monique is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a licensed clinical addictions specialist (LCAS), an EMDR certified specialist, and an ATOD certified specialist through the National Association of Social Workers.
Monique possesses more than 20 years of experience and expertise in the areas of depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and women’s issues.
Monique's work enables individuals to manage their symptoms effectively to improve the quality of their life.
Sophire enjoys working with clients who suffer from anxiety, depression, guilt, negative self image, emotional/energetic blockages and trauma due to negative life experiences. She is excited about working with clients who are dedicated towards living a more mindful and fulfilling life.
Sophire is a North Carolina native that is passionate about using a holistic approach while incorporating evidenced based practices such as mindfulness based cognitive therapy, breath work, DBT and emotional freedom technique, more popularly known as tapping. She is certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol listening therapy where she uses this innovative tool to help repattern the dysregulated nervous system.
Sophire empowers her clients to release stress as they transition out of chaos and into peace.
Ava Williams, LCMHA, has been a licensed therapist for over 10 years in North Carolina. She received her masters’ degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University. She has a strong passion to serve in her community and serve as a valuable resource.
She also has a desire to help reduce the stigma of seeking therapy across all cultures. A major focus in her work has been with teens and families. Ava’s goal is to help her clients develop healthy coping skills, reduce stress and anxiety. She works diligently to foster authenticity, a positive, safe, and nonjudgmental atmosphere for those she serves.
Ava supports her clients by helping them become a better version of themselves and providing them with resources to help to be successful. Her therapeutic experience is designed around an individual's needs using various evidence-based approaches.
Payton Alverson is the office administrative assistant with an associate's degree in medical office administration. She also has 5+ years of experience within the medical field.
Payton enjoys caring for patients and changing people's lives for the better. She plans to further her education into nursing. She is a mother of one and during her free time she enjoys caring for family and friends.
