About Us
Welcome to Piedmont Counseling where your healing begins! I am Monique Crutchfield-Floyd, a licensed clinical social worker, and a licensed clinical addictions specialist. For over 25 years I have dedicated myself to supporting people on their journey to emotional well-being.
Piedmont Counseling was founded in 2017 to provide a comfortable and safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly with no judgement. My passion for behavioral health stems from my own subjective experiences and a gift to actively listen, help others and the clinical knowledge to aid in identifying areas in people’s lives that they can improve in.
My goal is to eradicate the stigma around mental illness and accessing mental health services by educating my community on the importance of good mental health. We specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, death & dying trauma, and occupational issues, using evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to your unique needs, whether you are seeking individual therapy, couples counseling or family therapy.
